When I met Michelle at our wedding consultation, she mentioned that she’d like to have her engagement photos done this winter in the snow. I said absolutely. Then she told me that she and Steve like to go hiking and he had mentioned maybe Smokey Mountain. I’m thinking in my head “oh dear lord, I have to hike Smokey with my camera bag and probably snow up to my waist.” Both Michelle and Steve are 6 feet tall and I’m 5’nothing. She laughed and said she told him that wasn’t happening. Relief! We did settle for some snowy photos at the Mira Provincial Park which was much more manageable. Their fur baby Bailey joined in on some shots even though she just wanted to carry her log around. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year when hopefully it will be a little bit warmer.
