Alex and Anne were married on the family land in North Side East Bay. What an amazing spot to have a wedding surrounded by close friends and family. It was probably one of the most laid back weddings I have ever shot. The ceremony was on the beach followed by a BBQ that Anne’s father cooked himself. There was no time pressure and everybody had a great time getting reaquainted with family they hadn’t seen in a while.
Following the huge feast, speeches took place overlooking the beautiful Bras D’or Lake where more than a few tears were shed. The night ended with a huge bonfire, fireworks and dancing under the starry sky. This is what a relaxed wedding looks like.
